Portland Public Schools Astor Roof | Portland, OR
Project Description
The Portland Public Schools Astor project was completed on an expedited schedule of only 7 weeks occurring over the summer break. The roof at Astor Elementary was in terrible shape, with multiple areas affected by leaking and water damage. This project included demo of paint, gutters, fascia boards, access hatches, brick, flashings, as well as soffits. In just over 7 weeks INLINE restored this mixed 1949 and 1956 building with upgraded seismic nailing, new fascia boards, gutters, flashings, painting of all new materials, fall arrest system and a new SOPREMA roof. INLINE coordinated with ABC Roofing and other subcontractors to complete this time-sensitive project before the first day of school in September.
“I would like to commend INLINE on their recent performance on the PPS Astor School roof replacement project. This was both a technically challenging and fast track project to replace an old roof at the Astor School with a new structural diaphragm, new rigid insulation, improved drainage, and a modern roofing and flashing system. INLINE and their entire team on site, management and administrative staff worked collaboratively with the District and architect to achieve the highest quality results. Their overall professionalism helped make this project a success for all parties.”
